KARNS CITY, Pa. – It’s an intriguing KSAC girls’ basketball crossover affair Wednesday night, Jan. 10, when North Clarion heads south into Butler County to take on Karns City on the Laurel Eye Clinic KSAC Hoops broadcast via exploreRadio and exploreClarion.com.

Fans can listen to the game, which will most likely tip-off somewhere between 7:15 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. live on exploreClarion.com or by downloading our app for Apple and Android, with the Kerle Tire Pre-Game Show starting at 6:50 p.m. Dustin Kifer and “The Governor” Bob Dunkle will be on the call.
North Clarion comes into the game ranked No. 1 in the latest Allegheny Grille of Foxburg/D9Sports.com District 9 Power Ratings at a perfect 10-0, while Karns City is ranked seventh at 6-3.
The She-Wolves are coming off a 69-29 win over Union Saturday, while Karns City was last in action last Wednesday when it beat A-C Valley, 51-50, in overtime on a game heard right here.
The contest features two of the top players in District 9 with North Clarion led by reigning All American Awards & Engraving D9Sports.com Player of the Year Tori Obenrader (24.8 ppg, 15.0 rpg; 1,686 career points) and Karns City led by first-team All-District performer Emily Hegedus (25.4 ppg; 1,371 career points). Both players are closing in on becoming their school’s all-time leading scorer with Obenrader 136 points off the North Clarion mark and Hegedus 125 points shy of the Karns City record.
