Brookville 12, Karns City 11
A walk-off single by Braeden Rogers highlighted a three-run seventh inning for Karns City in a 12-11 win over visiting Brookville. With the Gremlins trailing by one and with one out in the bottom of the seventh, Karns City put the tying and winning run on second and third base. Brookville elected to intentionally walk Michael Neff, loading the bases. After striking out Zach Blair to get the second out of the inning, Rogers came up with a two-RBI single to win the game for the Gremlins.
Big innings were the story of the contest, with the Gremlins scoring four runs in the second inning and five runs in the fifth to accompany their three-run finale. Brookville scored six of their 11 runs in the third inning. Conner Shaffner, Mallick Metcalfe, and Zack Blair each had multi-hit games for the Gremlins. Hunter Roney, Jamison Rhodes, and Carter Kessler posted multi-hit games for Brookville.
