Moniteau Baseball Rolls Past A-C Valley in Lone Game Friday

BUTLER, Pa. – Jared Lominski went 2-for-2 with a double and three RBIs as Moniteau downed visiting A-C Valley, 13-4, in Butler.

Meanwhile, Hunter Fitzingo, Gage Neal and JD Dessicino each drove in two runs for the Warriors.

Fitzingo was 2-for-2 with a triple, three walks, two runs scored with Neal going 1-for-2 with a double, two walks and a run scored and Dessicino 2-for-4 with two runs scored.

Broc Weigle (1-for-3, 1 R), Tanner Merwin and Riley Bauer (1-for-3) each drove in a run for A-C Valley.

Moniteau, which scored 10 runs in the first inning, used four pitches to get the victory.

Chance Nagy started and went two innings and allowed two runs, one earned, on two hits and three walks while striking out two. Lee DeMatteis got the win going a scoreless inning striking out two. Ray Dean then pitched one inning giving up two runs on three hits while striking out one and Luke Pry pitching three scoreless innings striking out three and not giving up a hit.
