LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Moniteau graduate Kristina DeMatteis has earned All-Conference honors at third base in the PSAC West for softball while helping Gannon to its third straight PSAC West championship, a PSAC runner-up spot and a berth in the NCAA Division II Tournament.

DeMatteis received the nod for her first all-conference award after starting 35 games at third base. She batted .267 with 28 hits in 105 at-bats this season, while registering six multi-hit games. The sophomore scored 21 runs while batting in 15. DeMatteis hit five doubles, one triple and five home runs, one of those coming in the PSAC Championship game against Lock Haven.
Gannon (30-14) will take on West Chester in the opening round of the NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional at West Virginia State University Thursday.
