SHIPPENVILLE, Pa. – While the top two spots in the Oct. 30, 2018, Allegheny Grille of Foxburg D9Sports.com Football Rankings remain the same, the rest of the Top 10 is a jumbled mess from a week ago.
Clearfield holds the top spot after completing a perfect regular season at 10-0, while Smethport (9-0), which was off last week, remains at No. 2.
After that, the remaining eight spots are all different than the Oct. 23 rankings.
Rounding out the Top 5 are Ridgway (9-1) at No. 3 up a spot from last week, Brockway (8-2) at No. 4 also up a spot from a week ago and Elk County Catholic (7-2) up two spots to No. 5 despite not playing last week.
Coming in at No. 6 is Clarion-Limestone (8-2) up two spots from Oct. 23. Brookville (6-4) drops four spots to No. 7 after being dominated by unranked DuBois while Bradford (6-4) drops two spots to No. 8 after being shut down by Oil City. Moniteau (6-4) jumps up a spot to No. 9 with Redbank Valley (7-3) moving into the rankings at No. 10.
Clarion (6-4), losers of four straight, drops out of the Top 10 for the first time this season.
There are no Top 10 matchups this week with four of the Top 10 teams getting byes in the District 9 Class 2A playoffs.
