VOLLEYBALL

KANE 3, BROOKVILLE 1

BROOKVILLE, Pa. – Ella Marconi had 22 kills and three blocks to lead visiting Kane to 3-1 (25-11, 25-20, 22-25, 26-24) win over Brookville.

Hannah Buhl ran the offense for the Lady Wolves with 22 kills while adding 11 digs. Lexie Wood chipped in 15 digs, Audri Marconi helped her sister on offense with 13 kills while completing a double-double with 10 digs, Kalen Johnson added eight digs and three kills, Paige Niklas had eight digs and Sierra Hillman and Sarri Swanson each added five kills.

Lauren Hergert paced Brookville with 10 kills with Lexis Hatzinikolas chipping in nine kills and Mikayla Aikens and Cheyanne Gotwald five each.

REDBANK VALLEY 3, CRANBERRY 0

NEW BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Carissa Rearick had 21 set assists, three kills and two aces to help Redbank Valley to a 3-0 (25-19, 25-12, 25-21) win over visiting Cranberry.

Hope Spence keyed the Lady Bulldogs defense with 18 digs while adding an ace, while Josie Rupp (eight kills, one ace) and Taylor King (five kills, three blocks) were key players on offense.

Malliah Schreck led Cranberry with eight kills and 18 digs while Ava Ferringer added six kills. Ally Young had 14 digs.

BRADFORD 3, ELK COUNTY CATHOLIC 2

BRADFORD, Pa. – Thanks to 32 assists and four blocks from Laney Kahle, Bradford rallied from a 2-0 deficit to defeat Elk County, 3-2 (25-27, 20-25, 25-8, 25-16, 15-8).

Sarie Yohe had four kills and five blocks for the Lady Owls while Erica Marshall chipped in for nine digs. Ashton Himes and Morgan Tyger added 10 and seven kills.

AUSTIN 3, SMETHPORT 0

SMETHPORT, Pa. – Angeline Watson went off with 11 aces, five digs and three kills to lead visiting Austin to a 3-0 (25-20, 25-17, 25-5) victory over Smethport.

For Austin, Cerissa Glover had seven digs and four digs while Kiley Welsh chipped in for five kills, four digs, and three aces.

Willow Lapp paced Smethport with four kills and 15 digs with MyKayla Deyarmin chipping in for two aces, six kills, five assists and five digs.

CAMERON COUNTY 3, NORTHERN POTTER 0

EMPORIUM, Pa. – Cameron County defeated Northern Potter, 3-0 (25-20, 25-10, 25-18).

Hailey Hilfiger had three kills and four digs for the Lady Red Raiders while Mallory McKimm tallied seven aces. Alyvia McKimm ran the offense with four assists.

PORT ALLEGANY 3, OSWAYO VALLEY 0

SHINGLEHOUSE, Pa. – Led by Jenna Sprankles 21 assists and 12 digs, visiting Port Allegany took care of Oswayo Valley, 3-0 (25-23, 25-23, 25-13).

Kierra Keck had 13 kills for the Lady Gators with Kayla Pesock chipping in for six.

DUBOIS 3, CURWENSVILLE 1

DUBOIS, Pa. – A strong night from Cate Gregory helped DuBois defeat visiting Curwensville, 3-1 (25-8, 23-25, 25-7, 25-13).

Gregory ran the Lady Beavers offense with a game-high 37 assists, five aces and five digs. Sydney Kaschalk had 12 kill with Kelli Hoffer adding nine.

Erica Buck paced the Lady Tide with four aces, four kills and two digs with Tarah Jacobson adding five kills, three digs and an ace.

JOHNSONBURG 3, SHEFFIELD 0

SHEFFIELD, Pa. – Johnsonburg swept Sheffield 3-0 (25-18, 25-21, 25-21).

Jenna Morgan had 13 kills for Johnsonburg.

CLARION 3, MONITEAU 0

CLARION, Pa. – Five different players had either four or five kills, as Clarion rolled past visiting Moniteau, 3-0 (25-1, 25-11, 25-15).

Kait Constantino led the Lady Cats with five kills with Maddie Schill, Dorothy Kalinowski, Korrin Burns and Hailey Sintonin each adding four kills. Brenna Campbell had 22 set assists, while KK Girvin had five digs.

BOYS SOCCER

BROCKWAY 9, RIDGWAY 2

BROCKWAY, Pa. – Thanks to four combined goals from Santino Inzana and Hunter Allenbaugh, Brockway defeat visiting Ridgway, 9-2.

Allenbaugh netted two goals and tallied three assists for the Rovers while Inzana added two. Zane Paula, Ryan Lin, Clayton Hackman and Jake Anderson all tallied a goal apiece.

KANE 4, COUDERSPORT 1

COUDERSPORT, Pa. – Two goals and two assists from Pat Detsch helped visiting Kane defeat Coudersport, 4-1.

Aiden Zampogna and Jon Mishic tallied a goal apiece for the Wolves with Clayton Detrick adding an assist.

KARNS CITY 4, GROVE CITY 0

KARNS CITY, Pa. – Karns City remains unbeaten after defeating Grove City, 4-0.

Dakota King netted two goals for the Gremlins while Nate Rondinelli and Owen Collwell each scored once. Brayden Christie and Rondinelli each tallied an assist.

Jake Weckerly recorded his eighth shutout of the season on six saves.

PORT ALLEGANY 3, ST. MARYS 2, OVERTIME

PORT ALLEGANY, Pa. – Shawn McNeil’s overtime goal helped Port Allegany rallied from a 2-0 deficit to defeat St. Marys, 3-2.

CJ McGowan and Vinicius Nunes netted the first two goals for St. Marys to give the Dutch a 2-0 lead.

For the Gators, Noah Costa scored with one second left in the first half to cut the deficit in half heading into halftime. Howie Stucky tied the game late in the second half to make the score 2-2.

GIRLS SOCCER

BROCKWAY 3, RIDGWAY 2

BROCKWAY, Pa. – Brockway girls remain undefeated after a 3-2 victory over visiting Ridgway.

Chanell Brittner netted all three goals for the Lady Rovers. Morrigan Decker had two assists and Callie Barber had one assist.

Goalkeeper Mackenzie Overbeck had 11 saves for Brockway.

Ridgway stats were not available.

EISENHOWER 3, PORT ALLEGANY 2

EISENHOWER, Pa. – Led by Caroline Smelkos two goals, Eisenhower defeated visiting Port Allegany, 3-2.

Madison Mohney tallied the other goal for Eisenhower.

For the Lady Gators, Emma fox netted their two goals.

BROOKVILLE 4, CURWENSVILLE 0

BROOKVILLE, Pa. – Four different Brookville players scored to lead the Lady Raiders to a 4-0 win over visiting Curwensville.

Sara Muders and Madisyn Wolfe tallied first-half goals for Brookville with Lani Songer and Megan Mealy scoring after the break.

Avery Gilhousen made three saves in the win.

DUBOIS 7, PUNXSUTAWNEY 0

DUBOIS, Pa. – Isabella Beers and Lilly Zimmerman each scored twice to lead DuBois to a 7-0 win over visiting Punxsutawney.

Charlie Renwick added a goal and an assist for the Lady Beavers, while Kiara Tretheway and Rylee Wadding also scored. Felicity Enseki had three assists with Riley West and Amanda August also adding helpers.
