PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Penn freshman Maura Kimmel, a Moniteau graduate, was honored this week as an honorable mention for Rookie of the Week by HepsTrack.com.

Kimmel continued to impress in her first collegiate season, boasting the school record in the shot put for the third time this season. On Friday, the freshman threw for a distance of 15.19 meters, also moving into the top-10 all-time in the Ivy League.
