SHIPPENVILLE, Pa. – Kane continues to hold onto the No. 1 spot in the Sept. 12, 2017, Allegheny Grille of Foxburg D9Sports.com Football Rankings, but there has been some shakeup in the rankings behind the Wolves (3-0).
Clarion (2-0) jumps to No. 2 after an impressive win over No. 9 Brookville (2-1), which remains in the ninth spot, while Ridgway (3-0) and Clarion-Limestone (3-0) are both up a spot to three and four respectively after easy wins last week. Clearfield (2-1) drops from No. 2 to No. 5 following a loss at Central-Martinsburg.
Only one new team is in the rankings, as Karns City (1-2) climbs back in at No. 10 after beating Redbank Valley, 42-28. The Gremlins had fallen out of the rankings after losing to Brookville the week before.
The Gremlins being added means Elk County Catholic (2-1) drops from the Top 10 following a loss to Otto-Eldred.
Nos. 6-9 stay the same with Brockway (3-0) in at No. 6, Curwensville (3-0) at No. 7 and Bradford (3-0) at No. 8 followed by Brookville and then Karns City.
