NORTH CLARION 3, MONITEAU 0

WEST SUNBURY, Pa. – Behind 17 kills, six blocks and nine digs from Tori Obenrader, visiting North Clarion swept past Moniteau, 3-0 (25-12, 25-18, 25-23).

Avari Schwabenbauer added seven kills for the She-Wolves, while Paige Sherbine had 17 set assists and five kills and Katie Burkett served well with North Clarion scoring 14 points while she served.

Emma Bair had eight kills and five blocks to pace Moniteau with Cambrie Campbell adding six blocks and a kill, and Faith Kelley 29 set assists.

DUBOIS 3, HOLLIDAYSBURG 0

DUBOIS, Pa. – Behind eight kills, three blocks and four aces from Lexi Ray, DuBois swept visiting Hollidaysburg, 3-0 (25-23, 25-23, 25-21).

Danessa Allison added nine kills and 22 digs for the Lady Beavers with Kylee Bundy running the offense with 33 set assists.

SHEFFIELD 3, BROCKWAY 0

BROCKWAY, Pa. – Mya Grubbs had 17 set assists and served well to help visiting Sheffield to a 3-0 (25-14, 25-9, 25-16) win at Brockway.

Grubbs helped set up Lexi Lyon, who led the offense with seven kills while adding six blocks for the Lady Wolverines. Callen Copley chipped in four aces, Marissa Grubbs had 10 digs and Taya Bailey added 11 digs.

CURWENSVILLE 3, GLENDALE 0

CURWENSVILLE, Pa. – Behind the play of Elizabeth Mathews and Anne Hoover, Curwensville toppled visiting Glendale, 3-0 (25-14, 25-7, 25-19).

Hoover had two kills, two set assists and 12 digs for the Lady Tide with Mathews adding three kills, three digs and two set assists.

OSWAYO VALLEY 3, COWANESQUE VALLEY 2

WESTFIELD, Pa. – Shayla Bickel had a monster game to lead visiting Oswayo Valley to a 3-0 (17-25, 25-11, 25-18, 18-25, 16-14) win at Cowanesque Valley.

Bickel record 14 kills, three aces and 58 digs in the win.

Also for the Green Wave, Makenzie Karr had eight kills and 14 digs, Naomi Cook nine kills, nine aces, six blocks and 51 digs and Madison Miller 27 set assists.

BROOKVILLE 3, CLEARFIELD 0

HYDE, Pa. -Olivia Pearson and Cheyanne Gotwald combined for 10 kills, as visiting Brookville swept Clearfield, 3-0 (25-19, 25-11, 25-14).

Pearson and Gotwald each had five kills with Pearson adding three blocks and four aces and Gotwald four aces. Kira Powell chipped in four kills for the Lady Raiders with Lexis Hatzinkolas coming up with two blocks.

BOYS’ SOCCER

KARNS CITY 12, REDBANK VALLEY 0

KARNS CITY, Pa. – Dakota King and Nate Rondinelli each recorded a hat trick, and Austin Rumbaugh added a pair of goals to lead Karns City to a 12-0 win over visiting Redbank Valley.

Also scoring for the Gremlins were Jake Friel, Nolan Riley, Clay Garing and Jake Weckerly.

BRADFORD 5, RIDGWAY 3

RIDGWAY, Pa. – Alex Marrone netted two goals and added an assist, and Evan Schmidt made 17 saves to lead visiting Bradford to a 5-3 win at Ridgway.

Ian Grady also scored and added a pair of assists for the Owls (5-1), while Colton Swanson had a goal and three helpers. Mike Bosworth added a goal for Bradford with Cadyn Sutherland and Jake Johnson picking up helpers as well.

Alex McManus had a pair of goals for Ridgway with Lukas McClain also scoring. John Waddell made 19 saves in goal for the Elkers.

ALTOONA 1, DUBOIS 0

ALTOONA, Pa. – Issac Townsend scored the game’s lone goal to lift Altoona to a 1-0 win over visiting DuBois.

GIRLS’ SOCCER

KARNS CITY 4, FOREST AREA 0

MARIENVILLE, Pa. – Hunter Dittman, Haley Scherer, Alexis Moore and Chelsea Dodds each scored to lift visiting Karns City to a 4-0 win over Forest Area at East Forest.

REDBANK VALLEY 7, FRANKLIN 0

NEW BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Brooke Eberle recorded a hat trick to lead Redbank Valley to a 7-0 win over visiting Franklin.

Kalyn Kunselman added a pair of goals for the Lady Bulldogs, while Rhiannon Laughlin added a goal and an assist. Zoie Stewart also scored a goal with Addison Minich adding a pair of helpers.

DUBOIS 6, BROOKVILLE 1

BROOKVILLE, Pa. – Reese Sayers scored a pair of goals and Caitlin Drahushak added a goal and an assist to lift visiting DuBois to a 6-1 win over Brookville.

Maddison King, Lilly Zimmerman and Kiara Trethewey also scored for the Lady Beavers.

Jillian Taylor had Brookville’s goal.

ST. MARYS 3, KANE 0

ST. MARYS, Pa. – St. Marys got goals from Kyla Johnson, Jazmin Reynolds and Katie Gaverick to top visiting Kane, 3-0.
