GIRLS’ SOCCER

ST. MARYS 4, PORT ALLEGANY 1

ST. MARYS, Pa. – Lauren Eckert recorded a hat trick in St. Marys’ 3-0 victory over visiting Port Allegany.

Kyka Johnson also tallied a goal for St. Marys.

Emma Fox scored the lone goal for the Lady Gators.

CURWENSVILLE 6, PUNXSUTAWNEY 0

PUNXSUTAWNEY, Pa. – Madi Weber and Chloe Davis combine for four goals to help lead Curwensville to a 6-0 win over Punxsutawney.

Weber and Davis each tallied two goals for the Lady Tide with Emma Rebar and Breanne Spencer chipping in for a goal apiece.

Maura Bunnell recorded a shutout with four saves in the game.

BROOKVILLE 3, FOREST AREA 1

MARIENVILLE, Pa. – Madison McAninch scored two goals leading Brookville to a 3-1 win over Forest Area at East Forest.

McAninch scored off an Alyana Haight assist in the first half and completed the scoring with an unassisted goal in the second half less than three minutes after Jillian Taylor converted on a penalty kick.

Mackenzie Bauer scored Forest’s lone goal.

PENNS VALLEY 2, CLEARFIELD 0

HYDE, Pa. – Clearfield fell to visiting Penns Valley, 2-0.

Cassondra Almanac and Hannah Montminy tallied a goal apiece for Penns Valley.

BOYS’ SOCCER

BRADFORD 2, WARREN 0

BRADFORD, Pa. – Strong goaltending and balanced scoring help Bradford cruise to a 2-0 victory over Warren.

Ian Grady scored the first goal for Bradford and Cayden Sutherland tallied a goal late in the first half to make the score 2-0 before halftime.

Owls goaltender Evan Schmidt recorded a shutout with 16 saves.

BROOKVILLE 2, DUBOIS CENTRAL CATHOLIC 1

DuBOIS, Pa. – Jacob Cable scored off an assist from Jace Miner with 1:12 left in the second overtime period to lift Brookville to a 2-1 win over DuBois Central Catholic.

The Raiders scored first when Cable assisted on Miner’s goal, then with under six minutes to go in regulation, DCC’s Egan Peck tied the game up.
