Shadle, Parsell Pace Galeton Girls to District 4 Playoff Win

GALETON, Pa. – Cortney Parsell and Makaya Shadle each netted 17 points to lead Galeton to a 52-32 win over visiting Meadowbrook Christian in the District 4 Class 1A quarterfinals.

The Lady Tigers led 16-7 after one quarter and 27-14 at halftime.

Taylor Gessner paced Meadowbrook with 13 points.

Galeton takes on Sullivan County in the semifinals at a time, date and location to be determined.
