PHILADELPHIA – Ten District 9 teams are in the final City of Basketball Love PIAA boys’ rankings for the 2017-18 season including three ranked teams and seven “Others to Watch”.

Two of the ranked teams are in Class 2A with Ridgway (No. 5) and Coudersport (No. 6) remaining in the positions they were in a week ago. The third team that is ranked is Elk County Catholic, which checks in at No. 6 in Class 1A, the same spot as a week ago.
The same three teams that were in “Others to Watch” in Class 2A from a week ago remain with Clarion, Clarion-Limestone and Keystone making up the District 9 portion of that grouping. Cameron County, Johnsonburg and North Clarion remain in “Others to Watch” in Class 1A from a week ago and are joined for the first time by Otto-Eldred.
Brookville, which had been in “Others to Watch” in Class 3A dropped from the rankings this week.
