Spencer Herrington Clearfield by Logan Cramer III
PECKVILLE, Pa. – Three District 9 football players earned preseason All-State honors from the Pennsylvania Football News, while eight additional District 9 players were listed as “Others to Watch” by the PFN.
Clearfield kicker senior kicker Spencer Herrington (Class AAA), Karns City senior linebacker Cody Deal (Class AA) and Clarion senior defensive lineman Ian Corbett (Class A) where named All-State.
DuBois’ Bryson Paulinellie (WR), Brad Peterson (DL) and Joe Peterson (DL) where mentioned as “Others to Watch” in Class AAA, while Clearfield’s Jake Wingate (DB) was listed as an “OTW” in Class AAA.
In Class A, Brockway’s Anthony Benson (WR), Kane’s James Lingenfelter (LB) and Clarion’s Destin Strauser (LB) and Brendan Miller (DB) were listed as “Others to Watch”.
