DUBOIS CENTRAL CATHOLIC 56, BROCKWAY 45

BROCKWAY, Pa. – Riley Assalone, Gabby Caruso and Macy Hanes combined to score 35 points to lead DuBois Central Catholic to the title of the Brockway Tip-off Tournament with a 56-45 win over the host Lady Rovers.

Assalone led the Lady Cardinals with 13 points, while Caruso and Hanes each chipped in 11 tallies.

Leah Lindemuth paced Brockway with 19 points, Kaitlyn Morelli added 13 points and Adriana Azzato had nine points and 12 rebounds.

CLARION 44, REDBANK VALLEY 40

BROCKWAY, Pa. – Gloria Kroh had 13 points and 11 rebounds to lead Clarion past Redbank Valley, 44-40, in the consolation game of the Brockway Tip-off Tournament.

Wendy Beveridge added 11 points for the Lady Cats, who outscored Redbank Valley 16-11 in the fourth quarter to gain the victory.

Macy King had a game-high 19 points and 12 rebounds for the Lady Bulldogs while Lexi Holt added 12 points.

FOREST AREA 38, WARREN COUNTY CHRISTIAN 26

MARIENVILLE, Pa. – Forest Area used an all-around effort to take home its tournament with a 38-26 win over Warren County Christian at East Forest.

Tournament MVP Glory Wagner had four points, five assists and four steals for the Lady Fires, while Jasmine Ginnery netted a team-best eight points. Emily Everett, Rose Trivett and Bianca Hetrick each added six points.

PORT ALLEGANY 44, EISENHOWER 37

SHEFFIELD, Pa. – Autumn Buchsenschutz scored 12 of her game-high 18 points in the fourth quarter to lead Port Allegany to a come-from-behind 44-37 win over Eisenhower at the Sheffield Sports Boosters Tip-off Tournament.

The Lady Gators trailed 18-13 at halftime and 29-28 going into the fourth quarter but rode the play of Buchsenschutz, who also had seven steals, to the victory.

Cailey Barnett added seven points, seven rebounds and six steals for Port, while Erin Stauffer had seven points and six steals and Leah Garzel eight rebounds.

YOUNGSVILLE 59, SHEFFIELD 33

SHEFFIELD, Pa. – Caitlin Craig hit five 3-pointers on her way to a game-high 31 points to lead visiting Youngsville to a 59-33 win over Sheffield Sheffield Sports Boosters Tip-off Tournament.

Aspen Flinn added 15 points for the Lady Eagles, while Marissa Grubbs paced Sheffield with nine tallies.

SLIPPERY ROCK 49, KEYSTONE 44

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – Sedona Campbell scored 23 points, as host Slippery Rock rallied past Keystone, 49-44, in the consolation game of the Slippery Rock Tip-off Tournament.

The Lady Panthers, who got double-doubles from Taylor Geer and Alyssa Beichner, led 11-3 at the end of a quarter, 24-22 at halftime and 36-34 going into the fourth quarter before being outscored 15-8 in the final eight minutes.

Geer had 17 points, 15 rebounds and two blocked shots to lead Keystone with Beichner adding 13 points and 13 rebounds.

WARREN 48, MONITEAU 41

WARREN, Pa. – Alanna and Autumn Hultberg each scored nine points, as Warren topped Moniteau, 48-41, in the championship game of the Warren Tip-off Tournament.

The visiting Lady Warriors led 18-15 at the end of the quarter but were outscored 24-13 in the middle two frames.

Kristian DeMatteis paced Moniteau with 17 points, 14 rebounds and five steals. Sara Hull chipped in nine points.

NORTHERN POTTER 47, MANSFIELD 21

WESTFIELD, Pa. – Kalie Cowburn scored a game-high 18 points to lead Northern Potter to the championship of the Cowanesque Valley Tournament with a 47-21 win over Mansfield.

Gracie Hamilton added five points and 13 rebounds for the Lady Panthers, who led 6-0 at the end of one and 26-13 at halftime, while Tory McCutcheon and Mikayla Lewis each added nine points and five steals.

MERCER 47, UNION 37

FRANKLIN, Pa. – Despite 16 points from Hannah Atzeni, Union couldn’t overcome a slow start and dropped a 47-37 decision to Mercer in the Roy Sanner Memorial Tip-off Classic at Rocky Grove.

The Golden Damsels trailed by nine, 16-7, at the end of one quarter and despite climbing back within five, 23-18, by halftime couldn’t overcome the rough start.

Lexey Shick added 12 points, five rebounds and seven assists, while Frankee Remmick had 12 rebounds to go with four points.

CRANBERRY 39, ROCKY GROVE 14

FRANKLIN, Pa. – Malliah Shreck scored 11 points to place a 39-14 Cranberry win over Rocky Grove in the Roy Sanner Memorial Tip-off Classic at Rocky Grove.

Erin Merryman added eight points and Bree Swartzfager seven for the Berries.

Taylor Dziekciaz, a Venango Catholic student playing as part of the new co-op with Rocky Grove, led the Orioles with eight points.

GALETON 38, WILLIAMSON 26

TIOGA, Pa. – Cortney Parsell scored 18 points to lead Galeton to a 38-26 win over Williamson in the championship game of the Williamson Tip-off Tournament.

Makaya Shadle added nine points for the Lady Tigers.

BUCKTAIL 54, AUSTIN 18

TIOGA, Pa. – Behind 22 points from Maria D’Onofrio, Bucktail claimed the consolation game of the Williamson Tip-off Tournament with a 54-18 win over Austin.

Jake Mckeirnan led Austin with five points.

CENTRAL-MARTINSBURG 57, BRADFORD 39

HOLLIDAYSBURG, Pa. – Behind 29 points from Tierney Fernandez, Central-Martinsburg topped Bradford, 57-39, in the consolation game of the Hollidaysburg Tip-off Tournament.

Hannah Johnston added 13 points for Central, while Bri Wells paced Bradford with 21 points.

NORTH CLARION 51, CLEARFIELD 39

BROOKVILLE, Pa. – Another big night from junior Tori Obenrader helped pace North Clarion to its first-ever title at the Brookville Tip-off Tournament with a 51-39 win over Clearfield.

Obenrader had 22 points and 21 rebounds to lead the She-Wolves, who also got a double-double from Cassie Wagner with 15 points and 15 boards. Michaela Higgins added seven points.

North Clarion jumped out to a 17-2 lead, which lasted until the early moments of the second quarter and led the rest of the way.

Clearfield got within nine, 37-28, late in the third but never closer.

Brooke Cline led the Lady Bison with 14 points. Ally Lindstrom added 10 and Alayna Ryan seven.

BROOKVILLE 46, CLARION-LIMESTONE 12

BROOKVILLE, Pa. – Laken Hergert scored 11 points and pulled down nine rebounds to lead host Brookville to a third-place finish in its tournament with a 46-12 win over Clarion-Limestone.

Anna Burns scored four points for C-L.
