PUNXSUTAWNEY, Pa. (EYT/D9) — McKenna Martin continued her torrid goal-scoring pace with three more as the Karns City girls soccer team downed Punxsutawney, 8-1.

Lyrik Reed added two goals and two assists in the win for the Gremlins.
Hanna Dailey, Aubrey Price and Cece Morrow also found the back of the net for Karns City.
Morrow also had three assists and Emma Dailey also had two assists.
VOLLEYBALL
Lexi Ruckdeschel had 12 kills and three blocks and Jenna Stefanacci had 17 assists as A-C Valley swept Union, 25-13, 25-8, 25-11.
Bella Ielase had five kills and Mackenzie Parks four kills and eight digs for the Falcons.
HICKORY 3, KARNS CITY 1 — Ava Fox had eight kills and 11 digs and Rosie Carden pitched in four kills, six assists and 15 digs, but the Gremlins fell 15-25, 25-23, 6-25, 12-25.
Kendall Ritzert had eight assists and seven digs for Karns City.
NORTH CLARION 3, MONITEAU 1 — Allie Pry had eight digs and three kills, but the Warriors fell to the Wolves.
Davina Pry chipped in five kills and three blocks and Bella Hernandez five kills, six block and two aces for the Warriors.
ELK COUNTY CATHOLIC 3, DuBOIS CENTRAL CATHOLIC 0 — Tori Newton had 13 kills and five aces as the Crusaders remained undefeated with a 25-9, 25-15, 25-11 victory.
Madison Marzullo and Maddie Bierley also had big nights for ECC (11-0) with eight kills each. Kiri Emmert had 30 assists.
