FRILLS CORNERS, Pa. (EYT/D9) – Alyssa Weaver had 11 service points and 11 assists as the Keystone volleyball team swept North Clarion 25-20, 25-22, 25-21.
Jozee Weaver led the Panthers with nine kills and also had two blocks. Sydney Bell contributed nine service points, eight kills and two blocks and Kennedy Kaye 10 digs and seven service points.
Keystone (7-3) will play at Forest Friday for a varsity-only match.
Union 3, Venango Catholic 0 – Dominka Logue had 10 kills and eight digs to lead the Damsels to a 25-14, 25-20, 25-12 sweep.
Taylor Shick and Hailey Kriebel each had five kills with Kriebel adding three aces. Kennedy Vogle had 11 digs and Keira Croyle 10 assists to lead Union.
Kya Wetzel also had three kills and Grace Kindel seven assists and four aces for the Damsels.
Boys Soccer
Jacob Callihan and Adam Smith each scored goals in the first half and that’s all Karns City needed in a 2-0 win over West Shamokin.
Myles McCully and Colson Ritzert assisted on the goals.
Luke Yasika earned the shutout, his sixth of the season, for the Gremlins (9-1).
