BUTLER, Pa. – Tyler Yough drove in three runs to help Karns City beat North Clarion, 13-1 in five innings, at Kelly Automotive Park in Butler.

Yough was 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored for the Gremlins, who were the visiting team. Nolan Riley added a triple, an RBI and two runs scored, while Jake Weckerly went 2-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI.
Also for Karns City, Colton Hutchinson was 2-for-4 with a run scored and Logan Pistorius was 2-for-3 with a walk and two runs scored.
Yough got the win going four innings allowing one unearned run on three hits while striking out three. Weckerly went a scoreless inning allowing a hit while striking out one.
Zander Hargenrader was 2-for-3 with a double for North Clarion with Matson Higgins picking up a single and a run scored. Logan Minich had the RBI.
Higgins took the loss going 2 ⅔ innings allowing 10 runs, six earned, on five hits and four walks while striking out six. Devon Walters pitched ⅓ of an inning allowing one run on three hits. Zander Hargenrader went two innings allowing two unearned runs on one hit while walking two and striking out four.
After falling behind 1-0 after an inning, Karns City took a 4-1 lead with four runs in the second and then added seven more runs in the third before scoring two in the fifth.
