BROOKVILLE, Pa. – Clarion scored 12 runs in its final two at-bats to pull away for a 14-1 road victory over Brookville.

The Lady Cats were clinging to a 2-1 lead going to the sixth before breaking things open with an eight-run sixth and then adding four more in the seventh.
Alexis Constantino had a big day for Clarion going 5-for-5 with two triples, a double, two runs scored and three RBIs.
Brenna Campbell added a three-hit day while also picking up an RBI, Kait Constantino was 1-for-4 with a walk, two runs scored and two RBIs, Carly Best was 2-for-5 with a double, a run scored and two RBIs, Sadie Rudesyle had a hit, a run scored and two RBIs, Sydney Kiser was 2-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI, MacKenzie DiTullio was 2-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI and Lindsey Kemmer was 1-for-1 with two runs scored.
Marcey Schindler was 2-for-3 with a triple and an RBI for Brookville.
Kait Constantino got the win going seven innings of one-run ball. She allowed four hits and a walk and struck out 13.
Carlie McManigle took the loss allowing 10 runs, seven earned, on 14 hits while striking out three.
A-C VALLEY 15, UNION 0, 5 INNINGS
RIMERSBURG, Pa. – Syd Schmidt threw a 2-hit shutout and Kylee Eaton drove in three runs to lead visiting A-C Valley to a 15-0, five-inning win over Union.
Schmidt walked two and struck out three in getting the win with Eaton going 2-for-3 with three runs scored as well.
Sydney Rankin was also 2-for-2 with two runs scored and an RBI, Cami McNany was 1-for-1 with two runs scored and an RBI, Schmidt scored twice, Brooke Terwilliger had a pair of RBIs and Emily Wetzel scored two runs.
Sierra Salvo took the loss for Union. She also was 1-for-2 at the plate with Carissa Rodger going 1-for-1.
COUDERSPORT 19, PORT ALLEGANY 3, 4 INNINGS
PORT ALLEGANY, Pa. – Joplin Osgood drove in four runs, as visiting Coudersport rolled to a 19-3, four-inning win over Port Allegany.
Osgood was 3-for-3 with a pair of doubles.
EmmaRae Easton was also 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles and three RBIs for the Lady Falcons, Paiton Whipple was 2-for-3 with two RBIs and Emma Powell was 3-for-3 with an RBI.
Madison Smith got the win going four innings allowing three runs on five hits and a walk while striking out four.
Mackenzie Burr was 2-for-2 with an RBI for Port Allegany with Hannah Lathrop going 1-for-2 with an RBI double.
Burr took the loss allowing 17 hits and three walks.
CRANBERRY SWEEPS PAST FOREST AREA
SENECA, Pa. – Cranberry swept past visiting Forest Area in a doubleheader winning by scores of 18-0 in three innings and 15-0 in four innings.
Natalie Barcinas, Libby Kiefer, Rachael McCauley and Malliah Schreck combined to drive in 10 runs in the first game.
Barcinas was 2-for-2 with a double, two runs scored and two RBIs, Kiefer was 2-for-2 with two runs scored and three RBIs, McCauley was 2-for-2 with a double, two runs scored and two RBIs and Schreck was 2-for-2 with a two-run home run and three RBIs. She also scored twice.
Emily Duncan chipped in a 3-for-3 Game One with a run scored and an RBI.
Andrea Watson and Jenna Seigworth combined in the circle. Watson went an inning striking out two. Seigworth pitched two innings giving up a hit while striking out three.
It was more of the same in Game Two for the Berries.
Barcinas was 1-for-1 with two walks and two runs scored, Watson was 1-for-1 with a walk, and two runs scored. She was also hit by a pitch. Kiefer walked three times and scored three runs. McCauley was hit by a pitch, walked, had a single and two runs scored, Schreck was 1-for-1 with a triple, two walks and a run scored and Duncan hit an inside-the-park grand slam while going 1-for-3.
Tamara Flinspach got the win going four innings allowing a hit and a walk while striking out three.
DUBOIS CENTRAL CATHOLIC 10, ELK COUNTY CATHOLIC 0, 6 INNINGS
DUBOIS, Pa. – Carley Semanick was 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBIs to help DuBois Central Catholic to a 10-0, six-inning win over visiting Elk County Catholic.
Gabby Sabatose also hit a home run for the Lady Cardinals, while winning pitcher Ashley Wruble was 1-for-1 with three walks and two runs scored.
Also for DCC, Mia Meholick was 1-for-4 with a run scored and two RBIs, Shay Gulvas was 2-for-3 with a double, a walk and two runs scored and Chelsea Busatto was 1-for-1 with a double, a walk, a run scored and an RBI.
Wruble allowed just three hits and a walk in six innings of work while striking out three.
Josie Smith had a double for ECC.
JOHNSONBURG 17, SHEFFIELD 3, 5 INNINGS
RIDGWAY, Pa. – Johnsonburg used a 13-hit attack to topple visiting Sheffield, 17-3 in five innings.
Five of those hits were doubles with Maria Jones, Mackenzie Freeman, Michaela Herzing, Lindsey Kocjancic and Brooke Thomas all getting two-baggers for the Ramettes.
Jones was 2-for-4 with a run scored and three RBIs, Freeman was 1-for-3 with a walk and a run scored, Herzing was 1-for-4 with two runs scored and two RBIs, Kocjancic was 1-for-2 with two walks, two runs scored and two RBIs and Thomas was 1-for-1 with two runs scored and two RBIs.
Also for Johnsonburg, Haylee Zimmerman was 3-for-4 with an RBI and three runs scored, Alyssa Kasmierski was 1-for-3 with a walk and two runs scored, Isabella Galbo was 2-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored and Jenna Pavlock was 1-for-2 with a walk, an RBI and two runs scored.
Jerika Dexter was 2-for-3 with a double, a run scored and two RBIs for Sheffield.
Kocjancic got the win going five innings allowing three runs on five hits and four walks while striking out four.
Marissa Grubbs took the loss going four innings allowing 17 runs, 11 earned, on 13 hits and six walks while striking out two.
OSWAYO VALLEY SWEEPS FRIENDSHIP CENTRAL
FRIENDSHIP, N.Y. – Oswayo Valley went on the road and swept a doubleheader from Friendship Central (N.Y.) winning by scores of 7-4 and 15-5 in five innings.
In the first game, the Green Wave broke a 3-all tie with four runs in the top of the seventh with Mandi Smith delivering a two-run single for the final two runs.
Karina West had a home run in the game for Oswayo Valley, Macy West had a pair of triples and Shayla Bickel a double.
Karina West was 2-for-4 with two RBIs and two runs scored, Macy West was 2-for-4 with a run scored and Bickel was 2-for-4 with two runs scored.
Smith was also 3-for-4 with the two RBIs for the Green Wave with Karely Carpenter going 2-for-4 with a run scored and Olivia Jandrew 2-for-3 with a walk, a run scored and an RBI.
Karina West got the win in relief of Macy West. Karina went two innings allowing a run on two hits and two walks while striking out two. Macy went five innings allowing three runs, two earned, on six hits and 10 walks while striking out three.
In the nightcap, Bickel and Jayden Snyder both hit home runs with Bickel also picking up a double, Karina West had a double and a triple and Kelsey Turk added a double.
Bickel was 4-for-4 with four runs scored and an RBI, Macy West was 2-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI, Karina West was 2-for-4 with two runs scored and three RBIs, Snyder was 2-for-4 with two runs scored and four RBIs, Carpenter was 2-for-3 with a run scored and Smith was 2-for-3 with a run scored.
The West girls again combined for the win in the circle.
Macy went two innings allowing four runs, three earned, on a hit, four walks and a hit batter while striking out two. Karina tossed three innings and gave up a run on three hits, a walk and a hit batter and struck out three.
