CURWENSVILLE 58, MOSHANNON VALLEY 56

CURWENSVILLE, Pa. – Hanna Dixon’s breakaway shot at the horn lifted Curwensville to a 58-56 win over visiting Moshannon Valley in Mo Valley League action.

The game-winning shot capped off a career night for Dixon, who exploded for 35 points.

Christine Limbert and Madison Weber each added 10 points for the Lady Tide.

Emma Kitko paced Moshannon Valley with 27 points with McKenzie McCoy adding 18.

Kitko scored 11 of her points in the fourth quarter to help the Black Damsels rally from 14 down entering the quarter, 49-35, to tie the score at 56 before Dixon saved the day for Curwensville.

FOREST AREA 45, TIDIOUTE CHARTER 30

TIDIOUTE, Pa. – Rose Trivett scored all seven of her points in a strong third quarter for Forest Area, as the visiting Fires used the third quarter to pace a 45-30 win over Tidioute Charter.

Forest Area trailed 15-13 at halftime but outscored the Lady Bulldogs 21-6 in the third quarter

Jasmine Ginnery led the Fires with 12 points with Cassie Cochran adding seven points and 11 rebounds and Makiya Belloti six points and six assists.

Nakiesha Krause led all scorers with 14 points for Tidioute Charter.

CLEARFIELD 45, BROOKVILLE 25

CLEARFIELD, Pa. – Alayna Ryan scored a game-high 17 points to give Clearfield a 45-25 win over visiting Brookville.

Brooke Cline chipped in 13 points for the Lady Bison who also got nine from Nikol Chew.

Marcy Schindler paced Brookville with six points.

GALETON 62, BUCKTAIL 21

RENOVO, Pa. – Makaya Shadle and Cortney Parsell combined for 32 points in a 62-21 road victory for Galeton over Bucktail.

Shadle netted a game-high 17 points with Parsell adding 15.

ELK COUNTY CATHOLIC 61, SHEFFIELD 6

ST. MARYS, Pa. – Josie Smith scored a game-high 14 points to lead Elk County Catholic to a 61-6 AML victory over visiting Sheffield.

Reilly Herzing added 10 points for the Lady Crusaders, who had 11 different players score.

Destiny Wynn and Lexi Lyon each scored two points to pace Sheffield.

MARION CENTER 56, DUBOIS CENTRAL CATHOLIC 24

DUBOIS, Pa. – Behind 17 points from Mia Oterson visiting Marion Center picked up a 56-24 win over DuBois Central Catholic.

Laken Ryen and Jackie Fetsko each chipped in nine points for the MC.

Jordy Frank and Riley Assalone score seven points apiece for DCC.
