RIMERSBURG, Pa. (EYT/D9) — Payton Johnston poured in 19 points and Dawson Camper notched another double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds as the Union boys basketball team downed North Clarion, 66-51, on Monday night.

The Golden Knights (11-10) were well-balanced.
In addition to Johnston and Camper, Skyler Roxbury, Trey Fleming and Zaner Laughlin each reached double figures in scoring with 10 a piece.
The win locked up a District 9 Class A playoff spot for Union, which will also compete for a Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference title later this week in the four-team tournament at Clarion University beginning Thursday.
Aiden Hartle led North Clarion (7-15) with 24 points. Andy Castner contributed 12 points for the Wolves.
CRANBERRY 63, KANE 52
Ethan Merryman scored 19 points to lead the Berries.
The Cranberry senior guard scored 16 of his points in the second half to help the Berries pull away.
Noel Bunyak also had a strong night with 15 points for Cranberry and Ashton Weaver added 12 more.
Ricky Zampogna led Kane with 11 points.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
Emma Dailey scored 13 points and Chloe Fritch added 11, but Karns City fell to District 7 Class 6A Butler, 54-35.
The Gremlins trailed the Golden Tornado 33-13 at the half.
Justine Forbes led Butler with 27 points. Hannah Aldridge added 13 for the Tornado.
