KARNS CITY, Pa. (EYT/D9) — Hanna Dailey has shown all season she has the clutch gene.
She showed that again early in Karns City’s District 9 Class A playoff match against Elk County Catholic on Wednesday night.
Dailey banged home two penalty kicks just 16 minutes apart early in the first half to send the Gremlins on their way to a 4-0 win over the Crusaders at Diehl Stadium.

Layla Colsey also scored in the first half for Karns City, which dominated play throughout the match.
Phoebe Brandon tacked on a fourth goal for the Gremlins in the second half.
It was another shutout for Karns City (17-1), which has been piling up the goose eggs all season.
ECC had just one shot on goal.
The win sets up a District 9 Class A championship rematch with Brockway. That match will be played next week on day, site and time to be determined.
BROCKWAY 3, BROOKVILLE 2
Ana Hughes, Gabby Pisarcik and Reagan Gelnette scored goals for the Rovers, who held off Brookville to advance to the D9 Class A championship match next week.
Kaida Yoder and Ally Wilson scored for Brookville, which was turned away on a penalty kick late by Brockway keeper Josie Orinko to preserve the win.
The Rovers will play Karns City for the championship in a rematch from the title game last season.
