Brookville’s Park Scores 1,000th Career Point in Loss at ECC; Bradford’s Gigliotti Becomes School’s All-Time Leading Scorer in Loss to DuBois

ST. MARYS, Pa. – With his final basket of the game in a 48-41 loss at Elk County Catholic, Aaron Park became the seventh player in Brookville history to score 1,000 career points.

Park needed 12 coming into the night and finished with exactly 12 points. He is the first Raider to reach 1,000 points since Zane Hackett (1,016 points) did so in 2012.

As for the game, Brookville led 17-7 after one quarter only to watch ECC fight back to tie the game at 27 by halftime.

The Crusaders then took a 37-31 lead after three quarters.

Mark Kraus led ECC, who played without Mason McAllister, with 12 points with Leo Gregory adding 11. Regis Wortman and Carter Lindemuth each added eight points with Will Uberti chipping in seven points.

Jace Miner chipped in 11 points in the loss for Brookville.

Park joins Kevin Grubb (1,377 points), Chris Huffman (1,242), Jon Guth (1,053), Ben Whitling (1,035), John Oberlin (1,009) and Hackett.

DUBOIS 70, BRADFORD 58

BRADFORD, Pa. – Tyler Gigliotti scored a game-high 35 points and became Bradford’s all-time leading scorer but the Owls fell to visiting DuBois, 70-58, in D9 League action.

Gigliotti now has 1,387 career points passing Doug Fee (Class of 1987; 1,376 points) as the all-time leading scorer at Bradford.

Lennon Lindholm, however, exploded for a career-high 32 points for DuBois. Lindholm was 14 of 16 from the free-throw line.

Chase Husted added 15 points and Nick Felix nine for DuBois.
