RURAL VALLEY, Pa. (EYT/D9) — Abbey Jewart hit a 3-pointer at the first overtime buzzer to force a second extra frame and the Moniteau girls basketball team went 6-for-6 from the free throw line in the second OT to secure a 58-56 win over West Shamokin on Tuesday night.

Catherine Kelly scored 30 points in the win. She was 11-of-12 from the line in the game.
Trailing 50-47 in the waning seconds of the first OT period, Jewart drained a 3-pointer at the horn as part of her 10-point night. She then went 4-for-4 from the line in the second overtime.
Cheyenne Curl added nine points and Allie Pry eight for Moniteau.
CRANBERRY 46, UNION/A-C VALLEY 38
Avery Coe scored 17 points to lead the Berries to the win.
Haylie Gregory added 13 for Cranberry.
Maddy Dehart led the way for Union/A-C Valley with 16 points and 12 rebounds.
Kya Wetzel added 11.
BOYS BASKETBALL
Shane Peters scored 21 points as Karns City downed A-C Valley, 67-46.
Hobie Bartoe added 15 points and Jacob Callihan eight for the Gremlins.
Jay Clover led A-C Valley with 19 points and Joe Rapp pitched in 12.
WEST SHAMOKIN 61, MONITEAU 51
Chason Delarosa-Rugg scored 18 points, but West Shamokin pulled away in the second half to down Moniteau.
Andrew Zepeda added 10 for the Warriors.
