Clarion Churns Out Win Over Cranberry; Moniteau Cruises Past A-C Valley

SENECA, Pa. (EYT/D9) – Defense was the name of the game.

The Clarion girls basketball team held Cranberry to just eight points through three quarters in a 31-17 win Wednesday night.

Gia Babington scored eight points to lead the Bobcats.

Rebeka Kettner added seven.

Clarion led 21-6 at the half and 31-8 after three quarters.

Cranberry got eight points from Ayanna Ferringer to lead the Berries.

MONITEAU 60, A-C VALLEY 17 – Abbey Jewart and Catherine Kelly led a balanced scoring attack for the Warriors with 11 points each as Moniteau cruised.

Allie Pry added nine points, Victoria Pry seven and Davina Pry and Kendall Sankey six each for the Warriors.

Davina Pry also had 12 rebounds.

Moniteau led 33-11 at the half.

Baylee Blauser paced A-C Valley with seven points.
