KOSSUTH, Pa. (EYT/D9) — It was a great start to the Mega Match season for Clarion’s Kameron Kerle.

The junior shot a 1-under 33 at Hi-Level Golf Course on Tuesday, winning medalist honors and helping Clarion to a win in the first Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference Mega Match of the year.
Tanner Miller fired a 39 and Devon Lauer, Lucas Mitrosky and Avery Kline each shot a 40 for the Bobcats, who placed first with a team score of 192.
Cayden Baker of Cranberry was second individually, firing a 35. He was tied with Sean Karg of Keystone with a 35.
Karns City’s Chloe Fritch carded a 36. Dalton Wenner of Cranberry, Talon Wilson of Keystone and Connor Ealy of Moniteau each came in with 37s. Joe Rapp of A-C Valley/Union and Dane Wenner of Cranberry each shot a 38. Ethan Carll rounded out the top 10 for North Clarion with a 39.
Cranberry was second as a team with a 203 and Keystone was third with a 208.
Rounding out the team scores were North Clarion (212), Moniteau (213), Clarion-Limestone (223), A-C Valley/Union (236), Forest (248) and Karns City (253).
