Cranberry Secures Final KSAC Volleyball Tournament Spot; Clarion-Limestone Polishes Off Perfect Regular Season

SENECA, Pa. (EYT/D9) — Ayanna Ferringer recorded her 750th career kill and had 21 in the match as the Cranberry volleyball team clinched the final spot in the upcoming Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference tournament with a 25-22, 20-25, 25-22, 25-22 win over Keystone on Thursday night.

Ferringer has been dominant this season for the Berries, who will join Clarion-Limestone, Clarion and Redbank Valley in the four-team conference tournament that begins on Tuesday at PennWest Clarion. The championship match will be held on Wednesday at Tippin Gymnasium with the third-place consolation match preceding it.

All four teams will play in the District 9 playoffs.

Katherine Burrows had 14 service points, three aces and 10 kills and Audrey Burrows had a team-leading 15 kills for Keystone.

Gwyn Manno had 29 digs and Ava Patrick had nine kills and four blocks for the Panthers.

REDBANK VALLEY 3, VENANGO CATHOLIC 0

Mylee Harmon had nine kills and four aces as the Bulldogs earned a 25-6, 25-14, 25-14 sweep.

Kira Bonanno had six skills, Addy Bond six aces and Elaina Carrico 16 assists and eight aces for Redbank.

MONITEAU 3, A-C VALLEY 0

Lily Staab had a huge night for the Warriors with 14 kills in a 25-15, 25-13, 25-16 win over the Falcons.

Marissa Pry had eight kills and five blocks and Bella Hernandez five kills and two blocks for Moniteau.

A-C Valley was led by Maddy Dehart with seven kills.

The Falcons laso got seven assists and 11 digs from Lexi Altman and 11 digs from Colleen Verostek.

CLARION-LIMESTONE 3, KARNS CITY 0

The Lions wrapped up a perfect 16-0 regular season with a 25-17, 25-17, 25-16 win over the Gremlins.

Ashley Mauer had four kills, 10 assists and five digs for Karns City.

GIRLS SOCCER

Bree O’Donnell scored two goals to lead Karns City to another win, this one 4-0 over Brookville.

Hanna Dailey and Sarah Dodd also found the back of the bet for the Gremlins. O’Donnell and Dailey had assists and Savanna Prescott notched another shutout in net.
