Ferringer Has Another Monster Match for Cranberry; North Clarion Rallies From, 2-0 Down to Win

WEST SUNBURY, Pa. (EYT/D9) — Ayanna Ferringer was at it again for Cranberry.

The 5-foot-10 senior middle hitter for the Berries had 28 kills, 14 digs and five blocks as Cranberry outlasted Moniteau in five sets, 25-23, 25-14, 17-25, 23-25, 15-10, on Saturday.

It’s the third 20-plus kill performance in her last four matches.

She had 20 kills on Monday vs. Union and 27 kills on Thursday against Karns City.

Ferringer had “only” 18 against Keystone on Tuesday.

Ferringer has already reached 500 kills in her career.

Allie Rembold had 33 assists for Cranberry.

Marissa Pry led Moniteau with nine kills and Bella Hernandez contributed eight kills and four blocks for the Warriors.

Davina Pry also had eight kills and three blocks for Moniteau.

NORTH CLARION 3, PUNXSUTAWNEY 2

The Wolves rallied from 2-0 down to earn th 15-25, 18-25, 25-20, 25-15, 15-11 victory.

Alexa Carll shined for North Clarion with 16 kills and 14 digs.

Kyler Freeman also reached double-digit kills with 11 and added 28 digs and three blocks.

Ainsley Hartle had 28 assists and 15 digs.

CLARION-LIMESTONE 3, DuBOIS CENTRAL CATHOLIC 0

Hannah Beggs had 12 kills and Abby Knapp-Greeley pitched in 12 digs for the Lions in the 25-17, 25-20, 27-25 victory)

Kaylee Smith had 26 assists.

KEYSTONE 3, OIL CITY 0

Ava Patrick turned in another solid match with eight kills, three blocks and three aces to help the Panthers to a 25-22, 25-13, 25-21 victory.

Gwyn Manno had 17 digs for Keystone.

The Panthers also won the JV match, 25-19, 25-10.

Isabella Brandon had 11 digs and seven kills and Natalie Pfaff added 11 service points and six kills.
