CLARION 41, FOREST AREA 37
MARIENVILLE, Pa. – Trailing by seven going to the fourth quarter, visiting Clarion outscored Forest Area 14-3 in the fourth quarter to pull out a 41-37 KSAC North win at East Forest.
Alexis Constantino scored eight of her game-high 17 points in the fourth quarter to pace the Lady Cats comeback. Wendy Beveridge added six of her 14 in the frame for Clarion.
Forest Area, which took a four-point halftime lead, 19-15, expanded the advantage to 34-27 after a 15-point third quarter that saw Glory Wagner score six of her nine points in the quarter and Makiya Belloti add five of her six points in the frame.
Bianca Hetrick led the Fires with 15 points including 10 of Forest Area’s 11 first-quarter tallies.
RIDGWAY 48, CURWENSVILLE 31
RIDGWAY, Pa. – Behind 18 points, 13 rebounds, seven blocks, six assists and two steals from Emily Fullem Ridgway picked up a 48-31 AML victory over visiting Curwensville.
Hannah Park added 12 points, four rebounds and two steals for the Lady Elkers who also got 10 points and three boards from Casey Woodford.
Hannah Dixon led Curwensville with 18 points.
DUBOIS 41, BROOKVILLE 38
BROOKVILLE, Pa. – Ashley Hallowell’s putback with nine seconds left and Chelsea DeSalve’s free throws with 3.2 seconds left secured a 41-38 win for DuBois, which withstood a furious Brookville comeback Wednesday night.
Brookville trailed by as many as 14 points, but rallied to tie the game at 35-35 with under four minutes left. Then Madison Johnson’s 3-pointer with under 25 seconds left gave the Lady Raiders a 38-37 lead. DuBois scored the final four points to get the win
Hallowell had her eighth double-double and third 20-rebound performance in the last three games with 16 points and 21 rebounds. DeSalve finished with 13 points and eight rebounds.
Brooke Shattenberg scored seven points for Brookville.
MONITEAU 60, REDBANK VALLEY 28
NEW BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Visiting Moniteau got 20 points apiece from Kristina DeMatteis and Alazia Greaves and a double-double from Emma Bair in rolling to a 60-28 KSAC South victory over Redbank Valley.
DeMatteis added seven rebounds, six steals and five helpers to her 20 points, while Bair had 11 points, 11 rebounds, six blocked shots and four assists.
Macy King paced Redbank Valley with 13 points with Lexi Holt adding 10.
KARNS CITY 52, A-C VALLEY 40
KARNS CITY, Pa. – Karns City built an 18-point halftime lead then held off a second-half comeback attempt by A-C Valley to get a 52-40 win in KSAC South action.
The Lady Gremlins led 38-20 at the break but were outscored 20-14 in the second half.
Emily Hegedus led Karns City with 19 points including 16 in the first half. Hegedus scored 10 of her points in a 25-point first quarter for the Gremlins, who led 25-11 at the end of the quarter.
Alyssa Gibson added 12 points for Karns City with Mackenzie Craig adding 10 points.
Ellie Thompson led A-C Valley with 15 points with Kylee Eaton adding 12 points.
CRANBERRY 49, CLARION-LIMESTONE 12
SENECA, Pa. – Malliah Shreck had a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds to lead Cranberry to a 49-12 win over visiting Clarion-Limestone in KSAC North action.
Bree Swartzfager had a game-high 12 points for the Berries.
Karleigh Aaron and Anna Burns each scored three points to lead C-L.
KEYSTONE 68, UNION 36
RIMERSBURG, Pa. – Taylor Geer exploded for 35 points with 14 rebounds to lead Keystone to a 68-36 win at Union.
Alyssa Beichner added eight points and 14 rebounds for the Lady Panthers, who also got eight points apiece from McKenzie Hovis and Makenzie Byerley.
Lexey Shick paced Union with 18 points, four rebounds and four steals with Frankee Remmick adding eight points with all eight coming from the free-throw line where she was 8 of 8.
NORTHERN POTTER 43, PORT ALLEGANY 30
PORT ALLEGANY, Pa. – Gracie Hamilton scored 18 points to give visiting Northern Potter a 43-30 win at Port Allegany in North Tier League action.
Autumn Buchsenschutz scored 18 to lead the Lady Gators.
COUDERSPORT 60, OTTO-ELDRED 32
COUDERSPORT, Pa. – Haley Keck, Kiara Perkins and Ally Easton combined to score 36 points, as Coudersport remained unbeaten with a 60-32 win over visiting Otto-Eldred in North Tier League play.
Keck led the balanced Lady Falcons attack with 13 points, Perkins added 12 points and Easton 11 points, seven rebounds and four blocked shots. Macy Gleason chipped in four points and four assists.
Camryn Thomas led Otto with 10 points.
GALETON 65, CAMERON COUNTY 55
GALETON, Pa. – Cortney Parsell filled the nets for 27 points, as Galeton beat visiting Cameron County, 65-55, in North Tier League action.
Makaya Shadle added 18 points for the home team.
Mady Harrier paced Cameron County with 20 points with Madi Guisto and Kendyl Guisto each chipping in 10 tallies.
