Karns City Downs Keystone in Overtime; Forest Pulls Away in Fourth Quarter to Topple A-C Valley; Davina Pry Shines for Moniteau in Win

KNOX, Pa. (EYT/D9) — Shae Pistorius made a free throw with 10 seconds remaining in regulation to force overtime and Brooklynn Taylor was 4-for-6 from the line in the extra period to help Karns City to the 38-33 victory over Keystone on Tuesday night.

Taylor scored a team-high 12 points.

Emma Dailey added 10 for Karns City.

Natalie Bowser paced Keystone with 14 points.

FOREST 36, A-C VALLEY 28

Kaylie Rooke had a huge night with 12 points, 17 rebounds, five blocked shots and four steals as the Fires pulled away in the fourth quarter for the win.

Amber Guzzi added 10 points and four steal for Forest, which outscored A-C Valley 13-7 in the final eight minutes.

Keira McVay led the Falcons with 14 points.

MONITEAU 63, CLARION-LIMESTONE 38

Davina Pry scored 17 points and also had 15 rebounds as the Warriors rolled.

Catherine Kelly added 15 points and Kendall Sankey 12 for Moniteau.

Kelly and Sankey also had four steals each.

Lexi Coull led C-L with 14 points.

NORTH CLARION 52, CLARION 28

Lauren Lutz led the way for the Wolves with 16 points as North Clarion shook off a slow start to down the Bobcats.

Lily Homan added 15 for the Wolves, who led 12-9 after the first quarter before taking a 23-15 lead into the half.

Sophie Babington scored 16 points to lead Clarion.
