Keystone Beats Union in Straight Sets; Redbank’s 1-2 Punch at it Again in Girls Soccer; Clarion-Limestone Soccer Earns Big Shutout

RIMERSBURG, Pa. (EYT/D9) — Ava Patrick had 10 kills and also added seven service points as the Keystone volleyball team beat Union in straight sets, 25-18, 25-21, 28-26, on Monday night.

Bryanna Mong had 14 assists and also had eight service points.

Addison Say had four kills and five assists and Gwyn Manno contributed 14 digs to the victory.

Keystone also won the junior varsity match in three, 25-13, 23-25, 25-13.

Natalie Pfaff had 12 service points, eight aces and seven assists. Isabella Brandon had nine digs and four kills.

FRANKLIN 3, A-C VALLEY 0

The Falcons led 21-19 in the first set, but the Knights rallied for the next six points and then cruised in the following two games for the 25-21, 25-9, 25-11 sweep.

Bella Ielase had five kills and eight digs, Maddy Dehart three kills and Lexi Altman seven assists for A-C Valley.

Estella Adams had two dozen assists for Franklin. Katie Boal led the attack with nine kills.

GIRLS SOCCER

Lia Hageter and Alexandra Shoemaker provided the potent 1-2 punch again for Redbank Valley as each found the back of the net three times to lead the Bulldogs to a 6-1 win over Keystone.

Bella Orr, Raegen Wyant and Darion Bartley notched assists for Redbank.

CLARION 3, FOREST 0

Lexi Coull had another strong day on the pitch with a pair of goals and Alex Leadbetter added a goal and an assist to lead the Bobcats.

Coull also had an assists for Clarion.

Mercedes Cunningham got the shutout in net.

BOYS SOCCER

Thomas Uckert scored three goals and Brenden Bettwy, Wyatt Boyden and Martin Ormeno added two each as part of an offensive explosion for Clarion-Limestone in a 12-0 blanking of Forest.

Bettwy and Ormeno also each had two assists. Dany Schewitzer also had two assists for the Lions.
