KARNS CITY, Pa. (EYT/D9) — McKenna Martin had a hand in four event wins for the Karns City girls track and field team in a 107-43 victory over Union/A-C Valley on Wednesday afternoon.
Dillan Stroup was part of three wins for the Gremlin boys, who downed the Falcon Knights, 83-67.

Martin won the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.93 seconds. She also crossed the finish line first in the 200-meter dash and as part of the 4×100 relay. Martin also took first in the long jump at 15 feet, 1 inch.
Ava Fox also had a big afternoon for Karns City. She won the triple jump (32-7.5), the high jump (4-9) and the shot put (28-2) for the Gremlins.
Daniella Farkas continued to shine for the Union/A-C Valley girls.
The junior won the 100 hurdles (17.44) and the 300 hurdles (49.3). She also ran a leg of the winning 4×400 relay.
Stroup came up with key first-place points for the Karns City boys.
He ran a leg of the winning 4×800 relay and also won the 1,600-meter run (5 minutes, 2.2 seconds) and the 3,200-meter run (12:50.2).
Micah Rupp was also a multiple winner, taking first in the long jump (18-5.5) and the triple jump (38-8).
Sam Morganti had a big day for Union/A-C Valley with wins in the 400-meters (52.3) and the 200-meters (23.5). He also ran legs in victories for Union/A-C Valley in the 4×400 and 4×100 relays.
Landon Chalmers won the shot (48-9) and discus (127-5) for the Falcon Knights.
