Moniteau’s Brinn Kirschner, Clarion-Limestone’s Griffin Edmonds, win individual titles at Keystone Junior High Cross Country Championships

KNOX, Pa. (EYT/D9) — Brinn Kirshner of Moniteau and Griffin Edmonds of Clarion-Limestone were individual winners at the Keystone Junior High Cross Country Championship meet on Saturday.

Kirschner was the winner out of a field of 10 girls teams.

Evelyn Carroll of North Clarion was second, Aleya Linamen of Union/A-C Valley was third, Kellynn Potsbubay of Moniteau was fourth and Dana Coulson of Clarion-Limestone was fifth.

Keystone’s Dana Hansford was eighth.

On the boys side, Edmonds also bested a field of 10 teams in the boys race.

Ethan Hastings of North Clarion was second.

Edmonds’ teammate Ryan Rinker was sixth overall and North Clarions Cory Esquivel and Teagan Ochs were eighth and ninth respectively.

The Moniteau girls were the team champions. The Smethport boys won the boys team title.

Keystone, DuBois Central Catholic, DuBois Area, Brockay, Smethport, Moniteau, Cameron County, North Clarion, Clarion-Limestone and Union/A-C Valley participated in the meet.
