CLARION, Pa. – While the top three teams remain the same, there is a lot of shake up from four through 10 in the Oct. 26 Allegheny Grille of Foxburg D9Sports.com District 9 Football Rankings.
After escaping an upset bid by Keystone with a 48-40 double overtime victory, Karns City (8-0) remains at No. 1, while Clearfield (7-1) stays at No. 2 and Kane (8-0) solidified its spot at No. 3 with a win over Elk County Catholic (7-1), who drops from No. 4 to No. 6.
Moving up one spot into the new No. 4 is DuBois (5-3), while Brockway (6-2) jumps from No. 8 to No. 5 ahead of its showdown with ECC this week.
Despite a loss to Brockway, Curwensville (5-3) stays at No. 7, while Redbank Valley (6-2) and Port Allegany (5-3) each move up a spot to No. 8 and No. 9 respectively. Clarion (5-3) reenters the top 10 at No. 10 after a big win over previous No. 6 St. Marys, who drops out of the rankings.
In addition to the Brockway/ECC game, one other contest this week will feature Top 10 teams as Redbank Valley travels to Clarion with the winner taking home the KSAC Small School Division title.
