Punxsutawney Graduate Stouffer Named AMCC Player of the Week After Batting .550 With a Pair of Homers Over Five Games

ERIE, Pa. (EYT/D9) – Penn State Behrend infielder and Punxsutawney graduate Isaac Stouffer was named Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Player of the Week.

Stouffer helped the Lions to a 5-0 week to clinch the conference regular-season title.

Stouffer, a junior, finished the week with 10 RBIs and had at least one hit in all five games. He batted .550 with a 1.642 OPS during the week with six extra base hits, including two home runs.

He is batting .387 with six home runs, 34 RBIs and 30 runs scored in 34 games this season for the Lions. He’s currently on a seven-game hitting streak and has hit safely in 13 of his last 14 games.

Penn State Behrend is 24-10 this season and will host the AMCC Tournament.
