SHIPPENVILLE, Pa. – While the top three spots in the Sept. 19, 2017, Allegheny Grille of Foxburg D9Sports.com Football Rankings remain the same, there is upheaval throughout the rest of the Top 10 including two new teams – Brockway and Curwensville – moving into the Top Five, and a new entrant into the Top 10 in Redbank Valley.
Kane (4-0), Clarion (3-0) and Ridgway (4-0) continue to hold the top three sports, but Brockway (4-0) and Curwensville (4-0) both moved into the Top Five at No. 4 and No. 5 respectively.
Meanwhile, Bradford (4-0), Brookville (3-1) and Karns City (2-2) all moved up two spots to No. 6, No. 7 and No. 8 with Clearfield (2-2) dropping from No. 5 to No. 9 after losing back-to-back games for the first time in a decade and Redbank Valley (2-1) joining the Top 10 at No. 10 after blowing out previously ranked No. 4 Clarion-Limestone (3-1), which dropped out of the Top 10 for the first time this season.
With AML South play starting this week, there is a heavy dose of Top 10 matchups including Curwensville at Kane, Ridgway at Brockway. Redbank Valley also plays at Brookville.
