DUBOIS, Pa. – Sarah Casey of St. Marys won her third District 9 1A girls’ tennis title with a 6-1, 6-1 win over Punxsutawney’s Kaitlyn Ray Tuesday at DuBois High School.
To reach the finals, Casey defeated Maria Hoh of Elk County Catholic (6-0, 6-2) Monday at DuBois.
Ray advanced to the finals with a 6-0, 6-0 victory over ECC’s Emma Coppolo, also Monday at DuBois.
