STRATTANVILLE, Pa. (EYT/D9) — Jada Polczynski went 2 for 3 with three RBIs and also walked three times as the Karns City softball team scored five runs in the top of the ninth to beat Central Clarion, 12-7.
Emily Sherman also had a pair of hits and drove in two runs for the Gremlins.
Lyrik Reed doubled for Karns City (4-3).

Addison Burrows picked up the win, giving up seven runs (four earned) in nine innings.
Alyssa Wiant went 2 for 5 with a double and two RBIs for Central Clarion, which took a 5-0 lead after two innings.
But Karns City closed to 5-4 with two runs each in the top of the third and fourth, and then tied it up in the top of the sixth at 5-5.
The Gremlins took a 7-5 lead in the top of the seventh on an error and a RBI groundout by Reed.
The Wildcats responded with two runs of their own in the bottom of the seventh to force extra innings on a RBI single by Wiant and a RBI single by Emileigh Mahle.
In the top of the ninth, Burrows drove in what would be the winning run on a single and then Polczynski delivered a two-run single to make it 10-7. Two more runs scored on a passed ball and sacrifice fly by Nicole Taylor.
Kaylee Smith had three hits for Central Clarion in the loss.
REDBANK VALLEY 12, UNION/A-C VALLEY 2
Quinn White homered and drove in four runs and Izzy Bond also knocked in four to lead the Bulldogs.
Bella Orr was 3 for 4 and Keyauna Schimp, Mackenzie Foringer and Molly Evans each had multi-hit games for Redbank Valley.
Ava Snyder and Kya Wetzel each doubled for Union/A-C Valley.
BASEBALL
Logan Lutz went 2 for 3 with three RBIs, Brayden Murray homered and Nick Aaron and Jesse Siwiecki also had a big days at the plate, going 2 for 2 with a double and 2 RBIs each as Clarion-Limestone handed Karns City its first loss of the season, 11-1.
Tommy Smith got the win, striking out seven in four innings of work. Lutz closed things out by striking out the side in the fifth for the Lions (4-1).
Troy Nagel had both hits for the Gremlins (4-1), including a double.
REDBANK VALLEY 9, UNION/A-C VALLEY 2
Ty Carrier gave up just two runs on two hits and struck out seven in six strong innings and Jaxon Huffman had a pair of doubles and two RBIs as the Bulldogs downed the Falcon Knight.
Braylon Wagner, Mason Clouse, Breckin Minich and Owen Clouse also had multi-hit games for Redbank Valley (5-1), which had 12 hits.
Trey Fleming and Adrian Schmoll had the only two hits for Union/A-C Valley (4-3).
